Hands down, everyone knows STR aka Silambarasan was a child prodigy when he made his first appearance on screen as a child artist at a very early stage of his life.

His first movie as the lead, Kaadhal Azhivathillai [ Love can never be destroyed ] in 2002 was a box office hit.

Meanwhile, STR collaborated with AKON for the “ Love Anthem for World Peace “ an album with a thought of spreading the message of love world over, written, sung and composed by the actor.

The promo version of the Love Anthem went viral. On the flip side, the full version and the other tracks in the album are yet to be revealed. They are put on a hold for some unknown reasons.

It is to be noted that Manmadhan was a film in which the story and screenplay was written by STR himself. He also did dual role for the first time, one being an innocent and the other being a playboy in the same.

STR wrote another story and turned director for the same in which he portrayed 3 characters. VALLAVAN in 2006 was a superhit again and established STR as a multi talented personality with an exceptional acting skill.

It is during the Vallavan times that STR and Nayanthara were in a relationship and their intimate pics went viral doing the rounds in media.

It was in 2010, when ace director GautamMenon joined hands with STR and ARRahman, the phenomenon called VTV aka Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaaya happened. VTV became a Blockbuster and gave STR a lover boy image and the biggest hit in his career.

Cooked up reports were put up now and then linking STR with SanaKhan, Harshika, Varalakshmi, Trisha and many. He has been painted with a playboy image which is not true as many would know now a days.
