Many of our favourite celebrities from the Indian film industry came together under one roof in Abu Dhabi last night to attend the International Indian Film Academy Awards 2023 (IIFA 2023). At this celebration of hard work and passion, here’s a list of who won what in the major categories of the award ceremony.

Gulshan Kumar’s daughter Khushali Kumar, who left us in awe of her versatile performance in Dhokha: Round D Corner, took home the trophy for Best Debut (Female)Best Debut (Male)
It was a tie between two incredibly promising young stars– Shantanu Maheshwari for Gangubai Kathiawadi and Babil Khan for Qala. Well deserved!Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Female)

Evergreen Anil Kapoor took home the Best Actor in a Supporting Role trophy for his performance in Jugg Jugg Jeeyo. But let’s be honest! He was the star of the filmBest Actor in a Leading Role (Female)
Alia Bhatt’s incredible portrayal of Gangubai Kathiawadi was rewarded with the Best Actor award. Her film further won awards in the Best Screenplay, Best Dialogue and Best Cinematography categories. The actress reportedly could not attend the event because her grandfather is criticalBest Actor in a Leading Role (Male)
This is no surprise because Hrithik Roshan’s performance as deadly gangster Vedha Betal in Vikram Vedha was one of his most versatile roles till date. He truly proved he is the ‘Best Actor’Best Film

Superstar Kamal Haasan, who has made the Indian Cinema proud time and again, received the award for Outstanding Achievement. It was presented to him by Music Maestro AR RahmanBest Director
R Madhavan not only won our hearts with his performance in Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, but also proved his worth as a director with this film. For his wonderful work, he was honoured with the Best Director award
