Rocketry: The Nambi Effect
Directed and produced by R Madhavan, it is a biographical drama based on the life of Nambi Narayanan, a former scientist and aerospace engineer of the Indian Space Research Organisation, who was falsely accused of espionage. Madhavan also plays the titular role while Shah Rukh Khan and Suriya appear in cameo roles. It is slated to hit theatres on July 1.Shabaash Mithu
Taapsee Pannu-fronted sports drama is based on the life of former Test and ODI captain of the India women's national cricket team, Mithali Raj. It is an official Hindi remake of the Telugu movie of the same name starring Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra in the lead roles. For the first time ever, Ranbir Kapoor takes a departure from his regular roles and features as a dacoit in the upcoming thriller directed by Karan Malhotra. Set in the 18th century, it tells the story of a dacoit tribe and their fight for independence under British rule. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor.
