Mehrene Kaur Pirzada Won’t Star Opposite Varun Tej

Actress-model Mehrene Kaur Pirzada ventured into the film industry with Hanu Raghavapudi’s romantic comedy ‘Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gaadha’ (2016). Recently seen in Anushka Sharma’s Bollywood fantasy, romantic comedy ‘Phillauri’, Mehrene was reportedly brought onboard to play the female lead in Atluri Venkat’s upcoming film starring Varun Tej in the leading role. However, if recent media reports are to be relied upon, the 21-year-actress will be replaced by someone else now.

The filmmakers haven’t revealed any information related to the female lead. But, a source has divulged about Mehrene getting replaced. “There are date issues with Mehreen, and the makers are looking for someone to replace her”, the source stated. The beautiful actress has Anil Ravipudi’s ‘Raja the Great’ starring Ravi Teja and Suseenthiran’s ‘Aram Seidhu Pazhagu’ in her kitty as of now.

According to sources, the makers of Atluri-Varun’s upcoming film might rope in either of Sayyeshaa, Anu Emmanuel or Raashi Khanna to play the female lead in the movie. “It is a romantic love story and the director wants a lean looking girl”, the source added, also revealing that a new face from Mumbai might get a chance to star opposite Varun if the makers aren’t able to choose one of the above mentioned actresses. Now let’s see who grabs the golden opportunity.
