Vishnu Vishal's Next Titled Veera

Following the trend of using Rajinikanth’s old film titles in today’s films, Vishnu Vishal’s next film will be titled Veera. Thailaivar’s Veera was released in 1994 and starred Meena, Roja and Senthil. Recently Thangamagan starring Dhanush also used the title from Rajinikanth’s 1983 film.

Previous reports suggested that Bobby Simha was supposed to play the lead role in Veera but was unable to due to a clash of dates. He is shooting for Ko 2. Veera will also mark the debut of Rajaraman as a director. The movie will be produced by Elred Kumar.

The movie will also star Karunakaran in an important supporting role. The music will be scored by Leon James. Veera will be an action-comedy and the shooting for the Vishnu Vishal starrer is yet to begin. Vishal and Karunakaran were first seen together in this year’s Indru Netru Naalai which was directed by R. Ravi Kumar.
