Rukmini Vijayakumar In Mani Ratnam's ‘Kaatru Veliyidai’

The Bengaluru beauty, Rukmini Vijayakumar, who was last seen in ‘Shamitabh’ that featured Dhanush and Amitabh Bachchan, is all set to reappear on the screen. The actress has seized a role in Mani Ratnam's upcoming flick, ‘Kaatru Veliyidai’. Seemingly, Rukmini will be playing a key role in the movie.

The actress confirmed the news and said, "Yes, I am part of the film. But I cannot reveal any details about my role at the moment. But yes, I have begun shooting for my parts." The shooting of the film is currently taking place in Ooty.

Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari are the main leads in the romantic drama film which is written, produced and directed by Mani Ratnam. Delhi Ganesh will be seen in a supportive role. Rukmini Vijayakumar’s last Tamil flick was ‘Kochadaiyaan’ in which she played Yamuna Devi.
