Raveena Ravi To Debut As A Heroine

Raveena Ravi, who made her debut with Saattai for heroine voices, is all prepped to feature in her maiden film as a heroine in Oru Kidaiyin Karunai Manu. However, she has been offered other roles as well but she still hasn’t decided her future projects. Till now, she had been the voice for many legendary actresses like Nayanthara, Amy Jackson and Kajal Aggarwal but now she is all set to play the leading role in Oru Kidaiyin Karunai Manu.

When she was asked why she chose this film, the 23-year-old actress said, “It was a no-brainer. It was a wonderful team, a good director and most importantly, a quirky and likeable story.” However, she agreed to the fact that she was panicky to appear on the screen for the first time — “I have so far only given voice to many heroines, and being a heroine for the first time was very scary. But the team was extremely supportive of me, and Vidharth helped me out with my lines and camera angles too.”

The plot of the film revolves around the ritual of offering goats to gods. However, being the leading lady in the film, Raveena shared that shooting with the goat was fun. Oru Kidayin Karunai Manu is written and helmed by Suresh Sangaiah and is likely to hit the theatre screens in March.
