Pudhiya Mugam To Be Remade By Suresh Menon

Suresh Chandra Menon’s thriller film Pudhiya Mugam was a cult classic. The film released in 1993 with positive reviews and starred Revathi, Suresh Chandra Menon and Vineeth as lead actors. The film was about an assassin who undergoes plastic surgery and becomes a member of the Indian Army, and a hero for them while revisiting his past.

The film was Menon’s debut film. The film featured an acclaimed soundtrack by A. R. Rahman. The latest in the front is that Suresh Menon wants to remake the classic film. However, he will make certain changes in the film. It will be a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu.

The remake of Pudhiya Mugam will be produced by John Max of Shalom Studios. Max is the brain behind award-winning movies like Mynaa and Saatai. Rumours have it that Ravikaanth of the 22 Studios banner, who is the man instrumental in ideating the entire project, is also a co-producer.
