Oviya And Vedhika Roped In For 'Kanchana 3'

Actress Oviya has been grabbing headlines post her stint in Tamil Bigg Boss . According to reports, the actress has been roped in by actor-filmmaker Raghav Lawrencce for his next directorial venture, 'Kanchana 3', the fourth part in the highly successful 'Muni' franchise. Apart from directing, Raghav will also be playing the main lead in the film.

Besides Oviya, the movie will also feature actress Vedhika and newbie Nikita as the leading ladies. "The film features three heroines. Oviya, Vedhika and a new girl called Nikita have been signed. The project goes on the floors from the last week of October ," said a source from the film's unit.

While Oviya is the new addition, Vedhika worked in the first part of the movie. The first part released in 2007 and was titled ‘Muni’, the second instalment was titled ‘Muni 2: Kanchana’ and the third instalment which released in 2015 was titled ‘Kanchana 2’. "It will be a sequel to 'Kanchana 2'. It will star Lawrencce in the lead and he will direct it as well. The rest of the cast and crew are yet to be finalised. Sun Pictures will produce the film," the source added.
