Nil Battey Sannata Remake Will Star Amala Paul

Velaiyilla Pattathari star Amala Paul has been roped in for the Tamil remake of the Bollywood film Nil Battey Sannata. The movie was directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari and starred Swara Bhaskar. It was Ashwiny’s first directorial. On the other hand, Amala Paul will soon be seen in a cameo role in the film Pasanga 2, directed by Pandiraj.

The movie revolves around a single mother who is trying her best to make sure her daughter gets an upbringing that she deserves. Veteran actress Revathi will be playing the role of the mother while Amala will play the role of the daughter. Revathi is known for her films Raat and Anjali.

Ashwini Iyer Tiwari will be directing the Tamil version of the film as well. It will be produced by Anand.L.Rai and Dhanush. The yet to be titled film is expected to start shooting in January. The official announcements for the project will be made soon.
