Nayanthara Bags A Horror Thriller

Nayanthara has been roped in for a horror film which will be directed by Sarjun KM, who came to limelight with his controversial short films including Lakshmi and Maa. Kotapadi J Rajesh of KJR Studios, who made Nayan's earlier blockbuster Aramm will produce the movie. The makers have released the first look of the film and looking at the poster, it seems like the flick is a female centric and hardcore thriller.

Sarjun is making his directorial debut with the movie Echarikkai idhu Manidhargal Nadamaadum Idam which has not released yet. The movie stars Sathyaraj and Varalaxmi. Talking about how he bagged his second project, he said, “Rajesh sir called me and asked if I have any interesting story for a feature. I told him one and never knew it is going to reach Nayanthara ma'am. After that when he asked me if I could narrate it to Nayanthara ma'am, I was very thrilled and was even happier when she said she liked the script very much.”

When asked how his film is different from other horror flicks, the director said, “This is an emotional horror film. Even as I was writing this script, I wished to get a huge star/actor and having got Nayan madam, I couldn't have asked for more.” Nayanthara will also be seen in the upcoming movie Viswaasam where she will be sharing screen space with Ajith.
