Kalakalappu 2 Shooting To Commence Next Month

Director Sundar C will soon be starting work on his film ‘Kalakalappu 2’. Initially, the director was supposed to work on ‘Sangamithra’ but because of unknown reasons, he had to push it back to next year. Meanwhile, he is gearing up for the sequel to his 2012 film which will be made on a grand scale.

Jai and Jiiva have been roped in as the leading actors. The team has also found one of their female leads, Nikki Galrani. The actress shared, “I’ve signed Kalakalappu 2 and we’re starting the shoot on October 4. I will also be joining the team from the very first schedule. It is going to be a laughter-riot with Jiiva and Jai. I’m really looking forward to have a great time at the shooting spot”.

Speculations surrounding the project state that Oviya was approached for one of the female leads as well but she has not signed the project yet. Another name that came up was Catherine Tresa but there has been no official announcement. The project does not have a release date as of yet.
