Iravaa Kaalam Is A Drama With Elements Of Thriller

Maya fame director Ashwin Saravanan is prepping for his next movie titled Iravaa Kaalam. The film stars actors SJ Suryah, Sshivada and Wamiqa Gabbi in the lead roles. The story of the flick revolves around repercussions, both good and bad, of a person's choices.

"In Tamil, irandha kaalam means the past; iravaa kaalam implies a time that has not ended. The film is about how the ghost of someone's past changes his present life. The plot involves three characters, played by SJ Suryah, Sshivada and Wamiqa Gabbi and the drama between these characters," says Ashwin.

When asked about the reasons of roping SJ Suryah for the film, Ashwin said that he loved his emotionally honest performance in Iravi, while for Wamiqa, he said that her expressive eyes attracted him. He said that he decided to cast Sshivada because of the excellent roles that she has played in her past movies. Talking about Iravaa Kaalam, the director said that it is a drama with elements of thriller.
