C.V. Kumar Collaborates With Nalan Kumarasamy For Directorial Debut 'Mayavan'

Chennai, Feb. 17 -- Veteran producer C.V. Kumar has bankrolled many successful ventures in Kollywood. His films like ‘Pizza’, ‘Soodhu Kavvum’, ‘Mundasupatti’ and many others did a great business at the box office. He is all set to make his directorial debut.

His directorial debut has been titled as 'Mayavan'. The flick went on floors on February 15 with a formal pooja. The screenplay as well as dialogues of the film has been penned down by director Nalan Kumarasamy. C.V. Kumar and Nalan earlier collaborated for ‘Soodhu Kavvum’, which turned out to be a blockbuster. People have high expectations from the duo and hopefully they will deliver another hit.

The venture marks the third collaboration of the duo, they await the release of their second film ‘Kadhalum Kadandhu Pogum'. The film will feature Sundeep Kishan and Lavanya Tripathi as the lead pair. The film touted to be a commercial entertainer will be bankrolled by K.E.Gnanavelraja under Studio Green banner.
