Anbazhagan Talks About His Upcoming Flick, Roobai

Filmmaker and noted scriptwriter Anbazhagan made his directorial debut with critically acclaimed film Saattai. The film opened with positive reviews and garnered appreciation for bringing out the message clearly. The filmmaker is yet again ready to bring out another flick with a different message.

Touted to be a road thriller, the flick will be a road trip thriller. The flick circles four characters, Chandran, Kishore Ravichandran, Chinnie Jayanth and Anandhi. When asked about the movie, Anbhazhagan said, “The subject of the film is greed for money. It’s about two friends, who make a living by driving a lorry. In a bid to avoid the loan shark from whom they have borrowed money, run away to Chennai from their native town of Theni. They land in trouble while attempting a shortcut to earn money”.

The film will be a commercial entertainer. Helmed by Anbazhagan, the film will be co-produced by Prabhu Solomon. Actors Chandran and Anandhi will reunite for playing the lead pair in the film.
