6 Upcoming Bollywood Movies That are in Trouble After Ban on Pakistani Artistes

In the wake of Uri attacks, political parties such as MNS heaped pressure on Pakistani artistes working in India to leave the country. There has also been pressure on filmmakers whose films have Pakistani actors in them. Recently, we have all heard news about big-budgeted upcoming movies like Raees and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil getting threatened by political forces, with some of them protesting in order to stop the release of the movies.

But, while these two movies have become poster-boys for all the hate recently, there are other films too are going to release with Pakistani actors in them.  And that implies that they are under the exact same threat. 

Here's the list of such movies:

Hindi Medium

Saba Qamar, a popular Pakistani model and actress has been confirmed to play the character of Irrfan Khan’s wife in Hindi Medium, which will be directed by Saket Chaudhary (Shaadi Ke Side Effects).

Mom

After English Vinglish, Sridevi will star in Mom.  The movie will be about a difficult relationship between a mother (Sridevi) and her 18-year-old stepdaughter, which will be essayed by a young Pakistani actor Sajal Ali. Also, in the movie, will be a popular TV actor in Pakistan Adnan Siddiqui.

Googly Ho Gayi

Though it hasn't been confirmed but Sohai Ali Abro is all set to mark her first Bollywood debut alongside with Parth Samthaan in Googly Ho Gayi. The movie is scheduled for next year release.

Dear Zindagi

Dear Zindagi, which stars Alia Bhatt and Shah Rukh Khan, also has a stellar supporting including Pakistani heartthrob Ali Zafar. Will it spell trouble for the film?

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil

As discussed before, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has already faced a lot of trouble, given the fact that it releases this month. The movie has Fawad Khan in a small but significant role.

Raees

One of the most antcipated movies of next year, SRK's Raees will have Pakistani actress Mahira Khan making her debut. The movie as of now is scheduled for January 26, 2017 release.
