Nikki Tamboli Opens Up About Jaan Kumar Sanu's Mother Abusing Her And Why She Can't Date The Singer

Nikki Tamboli has been linked with Jaan Kumar Sanu since their Bigg Boss 14 days. Everyone who saw the season knew that the two contestants were good friends and the singer wanted to date her but she couldn’t reciprocate his feelings and her stand remains the same today.

The actress, who is often asked about her dating life and Jaan Kumar Sanu, says that he is just a good friend and romantically is not her type. The Bigg Boss 14 runner-up insists she’s single and would want to date someone with a strong personality which is not Jaan in her eyes.

“Jaan and I were really close friends inside the Bigg Boss 14 house. But after coming out we are just cordial friends because I could not connect with him. I don’t think he is my type. I think to date a guy, he should be very much mature which unfortunately Jaan is not. I like strong personalities and I feel Jaan is very strong in his own eyes but not in mine,” she tells Times of India in an interview.

Having said that, despite their ups and downs on the show the two re-connected after the Bigg Boss finale and have even been spotted hanging out together. Nikki also opened up about how Jaan’s mother speaking against her after she had falling out with the singer on the reality show and stated it as another reason as to why she would never date him.

She added, “Jaan’s mother had said a lot of negative things about me in her interviews and even abused me in one of the interviews. So I don’t think I can ever get attracted to him. He is just a cordial friend. But I always want him to be happy and do good in life. I always keep telling him don’t be in bad influence and be focused in life. He also guides me. But there can’t be any dating thing between us because he is not my type.”

During the show, Nikki had accused Jaan of forcefully trying to kiss her on the cheek which led to a falling out between the two of them. The singer’s mother Rita Bhattacharya had then called out Nikki in multiple interviews and claimed she’s using her son and had not self respect.
