The news of Karan Patel quitting Yeh Hai Mohabattein came as a shocker to fans. Even though Karan was absent from the show for quite some time and reports were doing the rounds that Chaitanya Chaudhary might replace him, he had made no official confirmation. Well, that was till 19^th July. On that day, his team gave a statement saying that the actor will no longer be a part of the show, which he had been shooting since 2013 and that he is quitting to be a part of Khatron Ke Khiladi.

The launch of the adventure realtiy show, helmed by Rohit Shetty, took place last night. Karan Patwl, who will be seen in the reality show, were asked by people from the media about his emotions. While he said that he is excited to be a part of the new show, he also revealed that Yeh Hai Mohabattein will remain an inseparable part of him.

 When asked about his nostalgia and pain after leaving the show, the actor revealed that his friends too had been asking the same question. He said that Yeh Hai Mohabattein in such an intricate part of him that he can never completely dissociate himself from the show. Check out what the actor said:
