In a recent chat with Spotboye, Pooja aka Draupadi opened up about playing the wife to the Pandavas. The actress shared that she was the last person to join the show and hence did not get enough time to prepare for the role. She went on to add, “Characters like these require a certain body language. You have to think that there is 50 kg of weight on your hand and eventually in the whole show, I walked liked that with a straight back and a queen-like posture. It was difficult initially, no doubt. But I settled down.”
Talking about one of the most important parts of the show, the cheer-haran scene, Pooja revealed that it was shot over a period of 20 days. However, it was written very sensitively and there was not a single weak moment for her. She continued to share that it was not difficult for her because she just had to feel the emotion.
