Bigg Boss 14 Day 26 Highlights: Eijaz Khan Becomes The Captain; Sends Kavita Kaushik To Red Zone

Day 26 was a pretty eventful day in the Bigg Boss 14 house. With only Abhinav Shukla, Eijaz Khan and Shardul Pandit left in the captaincy task, the choice was quite easy for the Red Zone members to make. However, they decided to make things even more interesting. Rahul Vaidya and Pavitra Punia entered the Green Zone and first took away Eijaz’s bag. They did not throw it into the Red Zone, just kept it in front of the door. Pavitra then snatched Shardul’s bag and later pounced on Abhinav with Rahul. Things got out of hand, Bigg Boss intervened, sanchalak Naina Singh tried to make many new rules. But in the end Red Zone members finally succeeded in making Eijaz the new captain of the house.

Red Zone became Happy Zone and Rahul even apologized to Jaan Kumar Sanu. Rahul told Jaan that he didn’t know that the latter’s parents had separated when he was young. Meanwhile, people in the Green Zone were far from happy. While Naina cried and complained about her terrible performance and discussed with Abhinav how biased Bigg Boss is, Rubina Dilaik asked them not to think too much. She went on to add that the show will always favor those who give masala content and the decision will always depend on the coverage the contestants are giving. Once again, it was Rubina vs Bigg Boss.

Well now that Eijaz is captain, you would expect everyone to try and be on good terms with him. Sadly that was not the case. When he kept asking friend and former captain Kavita Kaushik to wear her mic properly, the latter lost her cool and screamed at him, asking him not to irritate her. Kavita also asked him to keep his ‘overenthusiastic, crazy passion’ to himself and claimed that the only reason he became captain is that she got him out of the Red Zone. Kavita went on to state that she and Eijaz aren’t friends but because he’s told everyone that they are close and nobody likes his behavior, she is unable to make good equations with them. Eijaz was deeply hurt to hear this. When Kavita went and sat with Rubina, Abhinav and Jasmin’s ‘group’, Pavitra jumped into the matter. She screamed that Kavita called them boring earlier and is now sitting with them.

Things got worse between Eijaz and Kavita and eventually the former said, “Fine, Kavita ji is not my friend.” Well, it seemed like the biggest fight of the season but Rubina and Abhinav felt it was scripted! Meanwhile, Jasmin Bhasin has not been able to get over what happened between Rahul and her in the task the previous day. She is seen telling Rubina that she woke up twice at night as she was scared and is having bad thoughts. Later in a chat with Shardul, Jasmin claims that Rahul had allegedly threatened her by saying, “Chot laga dunga.” Jasmin went on to add that she wants either Rahul or herself to leave the show and go because she can’t take it anymore.

The next day Bigg Boss did something none of the housemates could have guessed! He announced, “Ab waqt hai tabadle ka.” Red Zone members had to call one Green Zone member to the turn table and give a reason as to why the latter should go into the Red Zone instead of them. The first was Nikki Tamboli, who called Kavita to the turn table. Nikki felt that she deserves to go to the Green Zone because Kavita is less entertaining. The final decision was in Eijaz’s hand and as he was hurt by Kavita’s earlier allegations, he chose to swap Nikki and Kavita. Nikki returned to the Green Zone and Kavita entered the Red Zone. Inside the house, Eijaz shared that he is hurt because he thought Kavita was his friend. But it shocked him that she claimed he used her for her fame. Well, it will be interesting to see which other contestants will be moved from the Green Zone to the Red one tonight!
