Veteran Bollywood Actor Vishal Anand Passes Away After Suffering From Prolonged Illness

Veteran Bollywood actor Vishal Anand, who has been popular for his films like Chalte Chalte and Taxi Driver is no more. He passed away yesterday, on the 4th of October after succumbing to prolonged illness.

Vishal Anand was also known as Bhisham Kohli. He was a part of the Anand family, and was Dev Anand's nephew. He was also Purab Kohli's uncle. He had been a part of 11 Bollywood films, Chalte Chalte being the most notable one, where he was seen opposite Simi Garewal. He has also directed and produced many films and had shared the screen with celebs like Ashoke Kumar and Mehmood amongst others. he is also credited into bringing Bappi Lahiri into Bollywood and paving the way for his fame by signing him as the music director for Chalte Chalte.
