Udit Narayan Reveals Son Aditya Narayan Was In Decade Long Live-In Relationship With Shweta Aggarwal Before Getting Married

Newlywed Aditya Narayan’s father and singer Udit Narayan couldn’t be happier with his son’s decision to tie the knot with his girlfriend of several years Shweta Aggarwal. Now that the wedding festivities of the couple have finally concluded Udit gave an interview and revealed that he was really happy that his family has more than one reason to celebrate on December 1, his birthday, which is also the day Shweta and Aditya tied the knot.

Talking about his wishes for his son’s wedding, Udit did express that he wanted to have a lavish wedding since Aditya is an only child and wanted to wait till the pandemic is over. He even revealed that for a decade Aditya and Shweta were in a live-in relationship. Talking to Bollywood Hungama he said, “I have just one son. I wanted his marriage to be much more lavish. But the Covid has taken the joy away from all celebrations. In fact, I wanted my son to wait until this pandemic was over before getting married. But Shweta’s family and Aditya were keen that they get married now. My son and Shweta were in a live-in relationship for ten year. I guess it was time for them to make it official.”  

Since the wedding saw very few guests, Udit hopes to host his friends to celebrate the occasion when the pandemic is over. Talking about his guest list for Aditya wedding reception he revealed that since only fifty people were allowed in one venue the family booked three and hosted 150 people. Talking about his V.I.P invitees who couldn’t make it he said, “Modiji wrote me a letter after I invited him for the wedding. So did Bachchan Saab and Ambaniji. The Defence minister Rajnathji called me to wish us for the wedding. We are fortunate to have the blessings of everyone.”
