Sona Questions Organisation For Hosting Anu
Anu Mallik had been accused of sexual molestation by many singers in the past. When the #MeToo movement took the country by storm, singers like Neha Bhasin, Shweta Pandit, Sona Mohapatra all came together to accuse Mallik of his sexual misdemeanours.
The news spread throughout the country and people collectively slammed the music director for his actions. So much so that he was even ousted from the Sony TV reality show Indian Idol 11. Post that Anu had released a statement in order to justify himself. Singer Sona Mohapatra was vocal about the fact that he was trying to play the victim card and she also made it very clear on her official social media handle that Anu Mallik didn’t have any right to appear on national television.
And this didn’t end here. Well, she has now slammed a cultural organisation called ‘Sankar Bharati Kendra’ had invited Anu Mallik and felicitated him, asking them, if that’s the kind of ‘sanskaar’ the country wants.
