Sidharth Malhotra To Star In The Hindi Remake Of Allu Arjun's Telugu Hit Duvvada Jagannadham?
Sidharth Malhotra To Star In The Hindi Remake Of DJ?

South remakes in Bollywood have always been a hit formula and looks like it is time for Sidharth Malhotra to join the trend. The actor is already starring the remake of Thadam on which he will begin work soon and now latest reports suggest that he might soon sign the dotted line to star in the Hindi remake of the Telugu film Duvvada Jagannadham (DJ).
According to Pinkvilla sources, the Hindi remake of the Allu Arjun hit was offered to the Marjaavaan actor before the lockdown and he liked the idea. Sidharth is yet to seal the deal.
The portal’s source says, “Sid also loves the part because it's a good mix of comedy and action and after Marjaavaan, he's looking forward for such roles. Even Thadam is in the action comedy South masala space."
The report also states that the makers of the original don’t want to sell off the rights but want to collaborate with a banner in Mumbai and go ahead with the film. This might rule out speculations that floated around earlier that the actor would star in a South remake helmed by Milap Milan Zaveri or Nikhil Advani.
Sidharth already has some busy days ahead with three films in his kitty including SherShaah, Thank God and Thadam remake if these reports are true he’s just about to get busier.
