Shah Rukh Khan has been absent from the silver screen for nearly two years now and now due to the pandemic, it’s become rarer to catch a glimpse of Bollywood’s favorite superstar. The actor who is currently in Dubai with his family can be seen time an again cheering on his team Kolkata Knight Riders during the Indian Premier League from the stands.
To SRK’s delight his team KKR won its first match against M.S. Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings on Wednesday evening. Cricketer Rahul Tripathi was crowned the Man of Match the Bollywood superstar couldn’t contain his excitement as he screamed from the stand his iconic Dil Toh Pagal Hai dialogue ‘Rahul naam toh suna hi hoga’ making the cricketer laugh out loud and blush. Tripathi was speaking to presenter Harsha Bogle after winning the 'MoM' title.
Kolkata Knight Riders won the match with Tripathi scoring 81 runs out of 51 balls in the first innings and the team putting forward a target of 168 runs for Dhoni’s CSK to chase.
On the movies front, SRK is reported to have signed two big films including Sidharth Anand’s Pathan which will be a part of YRF’s big 50 years celebrations and will hopefully be announced soon. His other film is with Rajkumari Hirani.
