Salman Khan’s Fans Gather In Bhiwandi Amid Lockdown After Hearing Rumors About Him Distributing Money And Food

Salman Khan is currently at his Panvel farmhouse with his sister Arpita Khan’s family and some Bollywood friends. Their trip was planned as a weekend getaway but a nationwide lockdown was declared to help stop the spread of coronavirus and they had to stay put. After 60 long days when lockdown 4.0 was declared, Salman made a quick visit to Mumbai on Tuesday. He took permission from authorities and followed all the important guidelines to meet his parents who are staying at Galaxy apartments in Bandra.

While the actor drove back to Panvel that very evening, a rumor went around stating that Salman is coming to Bhiwandi, situated on the outskirts of Mumbai, to distribute money and food to the needy. Over thousands of his fans gathered around the Khandupada locality on Wednesday evening to meet him and completely forgot that we are supposed to be practicing social distancing amid the ongoing pandemic. A video of the same went viral on social media.

According to a report in ABP News, the police had a tough time sending everyone home and reminding them that the country is under a lockdown. They also had to convince the crowds that Salman Khan is not visiting the area.
