Gully Boy To Release In Japan
After enthralling the cerebral cine-goers with its content and stellar performances Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt is all set to release in Japan. The film will hit the Japanse theatres sometime in October
The film recently received the honor of being awarded the ‘Best Film’ at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne and has had its premiere at the prestigious Berlin Film Festival where it received a standing ovation. Thus, it is not farfetched to hope that the film will be able to capture the Japanese audiences as well.
Talking about the same, actor Ranveer Singh, who essayed the character of Murad in the film, said, “I am very happy, very proud that Gully Boy is releasing in Japan. I have never been to Japan but only learnt, heard and seen the most wonderful things about the land of the rising sun.”
“I hope to come there someday - Gully Boy is releasing in Japan and it's a very happy and proud moment for us all who have worked on the film - that our film has traveled to the vast nation of Japan and we hope that you all see it and you all like it,” he added.
