Oh My God 2: Akshay Kumar- Paresh Rawal To Team Up Once Again, Film Ready To Go On Floors By July?

Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal make for a hit on-screen jodi. Everytime the duo has appeared together, the films have been a hit. They were seen together in the 2012 film, Oh My God, that garnered good reviews from audiences and critics alike. Now, it looks like they are all set to bring out the sequel to the film.

If a report in Pinkvilla is to be believed, then the script of the sequel is ready too. In fact, Akshay Kumar would be co-producing it and he wants the film to go on floors as early as July. A source revealed, “Akshay, Paresh, Ashwin (Varde, producer) and the entire gang have been keen to make Oh My God 2 for the longest time and have been brainstorming on different ideas to come up with a story that’s better than the first part. And after several years of research and brainstorming, they have finally locked a script that does justice to the legacy of the first part. Even as he was shooting for Atrangi Re, he was in constant touch with Ashwin over the script of Oh My God and in-fact the two even met on the set in Delhi to discuss the pre-production process, other members of the cast and the way forward. The script is locked, and the film is ready to go on the floors as early as summer 2021.”

Well, we hope that the announcement is made soon. Akshay Kumar has quite a few other films in his kitty too and we wonder how he would be shooting all of these!
