Nayanthara wasn't keen on signing Atlee's next with Shah Rukh Khan? Here's how the filmmaker changed her mind

Tamil star Nayanthara is finally making her debut in Bollywood opposite Shah Rukh Khan in filmmaker Atlee’s ambitious next project. Reports are now doing the rounds that the actress wasn’t all that keen on signing the project after she first heard the story in which Shah Rukh has a double role.

According to a Free Press Journal report, Nayanthara wasn’t pleased with how her character was written. Filmmaker Atlee Kumar apparently had to re-work the whole script to get the Chandramukhi actress on board. Nayanthara who is a big name in the Tamil film industry was in no rush to make her debut, Atlee however made more room for her character in the film and got her on board along with Priyamani who is the second actress in the film.

Shah Rukh Khan has already begun shooting for the film in Pune. He was seen shooting a sequence at a metro station in the city and the pictures from set quickly went viral on social media. According to reports Shah Rukh will be playing a double role as father and son. The actor also has the last leg of Pathan to shoot with Deepika Padukone which will be filmed at an international location.
