Munna Bhai 3's Script Is In Works, Producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra Hopes It Would Be Ready By The Year-End

Munna Bhai series has been one of the most viewed and most loved films of Bollywood. Revolving around Munna Bhai and Circuit, played by Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi. In one of the recent interviews, Arshad had said that chances of the third film of the franchise coming out are almost zero since a long time has passed. But, looks like producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra is hopeful. In fact, he is hoping that the script would be ready by the end of the year!

Talking to Mid Day, he said that he has always been keen to make the third part too. He said, “We have not made the third Munna Bhai because I am not happy with the script yet. Abhijat and Raju [Rajkumar Hirani] are working on the script. Hopefully, we’ll have a script by the year-end. I never said I won’t make the film. I said I won’t ever make a substandard Munna Bhai."

That does sound hopeful, isn't it? Munna Bhai MMBS was a blockbuster and soon Lage Raho Munna Bhai also came out. It hinted at the third part- Munna Bhai Chale America. However, there had been several shortcomings and the makers could not find the ideal script. We hope we get to see the third part soon.
