Maanyata Issues Statement On Sanjay Dutt's Health
Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt at 61 has been diagnosed with lung cancer. The Sadak 2 actor was admitted to the Lilavati hospital on Saturday evening after he complained of chest pain and breathlessness and was discharged on Monday. On Tuesday he announced a break from movies while the sources from the hospital confirmed his cancer diagnosis.
The actor’s wife Maanyata Dutt has now issued a statement on his health and thanked everyone praying for the actor. She wrote, “We need all the strength and prayers to overcome this phase. There is a lot that the family has gone through in the past years but I am confident, this too shall pass.”
Asking fans not to speculated or fall prey to rumours about the actor’s heath Maanyata wrote about Sanjay Dutt, “Sanju has always been a fighter, and so has our family. God has yet again chosen to test us to overcome the challenges ahead. All we seek is your prayers and blessings, and we know we will emerge as winners on the other side, as we always have.”
Sources from the hospital told Hindustan Times, “When he was taken to the hospital, he was low on oxygen saturation. But when his Covid-19 report came negative, he run cancer analysis and it came positive."
It has been reported that the actor will be leaving for treatment to the U.S. immediately.
