Liger: Vijay Deverakonda- Ananya Panday Starrer's Release Date Announced, To Hit Theatres On September 9 This Year

One project that the entire nation is eagerly looking forward to is Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday starrer Pan India film, Liger. A few days back, the title of the film, along with the first look was announced. Now, the makers have also revealed the date when the film would hit theatres.

Taking to social media, director Puri Jagannadh, who is also helming this film, wrote, "Packing a Punch in Theaters near you on 9th September 2021! A worldwide theatrical release of #Liger in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada & Malayalam." See the post, along with a new poster here:

Isn't that interesting. Back in January, the title of the film had been announced. The tagline read, "Saala crossbreed" and Vijay looked deadly in red boxing gloves.

It has been reported earlier that the actor had been taking martial arts training in Thailand to prepare for the role. The shoot had been on in full swing as well until the pandemic hit and it came to a sudden halt. It was wrapped up right after shoot resumed in the entire nation. The film was shot in Mumbai and Hyderabad. Are you excited already for the release of this one, because well, we can't keep calm!
