Katrina-Vicky were initially planning a summer wedding in 2022, here's why they preponed their plans

All the rumours surrounding Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif’s grand wedding plans have us really looking forward to the month of December. The couple will reportedly be tying the knot in a rather royal fashion in Rajasthan in an old palace close to the Ranthambore National Park.

Right from the wedding proposal, their Roka ceremony to their wedding dates has made headlines since last month and all work commitments have allegedly been put on hold by Vicky and Katrina to prepare for their big day. According to a report in BollywoodLife, the couple initially had plans to marry in May 2022 but they preponed their wedding after having decided on their wedding venue.

A source close to the portal has claimed that the actress who a dreamy wedding mind insisted on a December wedding while Vicky due to his work schedule was keen on a 2022 wedding date.  December was ultimately favoured owing to the heat waves in Rajasthan in the summer.

The couple has now put work on hold to focus on the wedding and for Katrina’s sake, her Tiger 3 co-star Salman Khan has been accommodating and pushed the next schedule of the film featuring the actress for next year. It was earlier reported that Katrina after wrapping up the promotions of Sooryavanshi has committed all her time to the wedding.

Vicky and Katrina will apparently be hosting their friends and family to their wedding festivities between 7-9 December. Six Senses Fort Barwara resort in Sawai Madhopur has been fixed as the wedding venue. Both Vicky and Katrina will be dressed on their D-day by designer Sabyasachi.
