Karan Johar’s Dream Cast For Kuch Kuch Hota Hai Reboot Is Simply The Most Exciting Thing We Have Heard In A While

If you are a Bollywood fan and literally worship the 90s, you must have prayed at least once for Karan Johar to make a sequel or a reboot of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. While Karan has time and again discussed the possibility of remaking this ultimate cult hit, things have never been concrete. But that is not going to stop us from dreaming, right?

Well, we are not the only ones who harbor this dream but so does Karan Johar. In fact, in his head, he also has a dream cast ready for the film. In a recent interaction at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne, Karan revealed his dream cast for the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai reboot. He said, “On my wishlist would be Ranveer Singh as Rahul. He has that mad intensity as Shah Rukh Khan. Alia Bhatt as Anjali. She has the spunk and Janhvi Kapoor as Tina because she has the poise and balance of the part.” He also narrated how the role of Tina was a nightmare to cast as actresses like Tabu, Urmila Matondkar and of course Twinkle Khanna had all refused the role and only then it went to Rani Mukerji.

Well, that was just the debut of Karan Johar and today he can easily have his dream cast on board as Ranveer, Alia or Janhvi or any other actor for that matter would never say no to either Karan Johar or Kuch Kuch Hota Hai remake. So what’s stopping you, Karan? Just make it happen and there isn’t a single 90s kid who would not love you for this!
