Kangana Ranaut Faces Backlash For Insinuating Sushant Singh Rajput Hanged Himself, His Fans Ask, "Why This Hypocrisy?"

Kangana Ranaut compared actor Kartik Aaryan to late actor Sushant Singh Rajput in a recent set of tweets after he was fired from the upcoming Karan Johar film Dostana 2. The actress who is well known in the industry for her stand against nepotism faced backlash from Sushant’s fans after she claimed in a tweet that the late actor died by suicide.

On Saturday, the actress in tweet took Kartik Aaryan’s side after his much-hyped fall out with Karan Johar and lashed out at the filmmaker with whom she has an infamous rivalry. She wrote: “Kartik has come this far on his own, on his own he will continue to do so, only request to papa jo and his nepo gang club is please leave him alone like Shushant don’t go after him and force him to hang himself.”

While both Kartik and Karan remained silent, Kangana suggesting that Sushant Singh Rajput hanged himself stirred a storm on Twitter where fans of the late actor targeted the actress and claimed she’s changed sides in the SSR case.

Kangana had taken a strong stand with Suhsant’s fans last year who believed that the Kai Po Che actor had been murdered and sought justice for his death. Her latest tweet, however, had ignited a strong reaction and ‘SSR was killed Kangana’ has now become a big trend on Twitter.
