Isha Koppikar Talks About Sanjay Gupta Lying To Her
Just a few days back, actress Isha Koppikar came out in the open and talked about the casting couch and other sexist practices in Bollywood. She also added that she missed out on many roles either due to people asking her to compromise or to products of nepotism.

Recently, during an interaction, Isha was talking about her famous item song ‘Khallas’ and was asked if she expected the response. Isha replied, “No, I never expected it. I had done a few films down South and I played the girl next door. So I never thought I could look this hot. When RGV asked me to do the song, he asked me to keep quiet. Once it was done, when I saw it, I was shocked and was blown.”
However, the craze of the song did more harm to her career than good. Isha revealed, “I was offered several dance numbers which I had to say no to. Khallas kind of typecasted me where people wanted to take me only for songs. I did Ishq Samundar also at the same time. It was actually supposed to be a role in the film but it was not. I don't really know what happened.”

She further explained, “I was told that it's the role of Sanjay Dutt's girlfriend. Then they told me they felt the length of the film (Kaante) was too long and they had to shorten so they had to do away with my role. We first shot the song. I was too naive and took people by face value. I don't know if we can call it cheating but maybe, they could have done away with my part in the film. I don't really know.”
