Irrfan Has Been Admitted To The ICU In Kokilaben Hospital
One of the most adored superstars of Bollywood, Irrfan Khan was diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumour in 2018 and had been undergoing treatment in London. After recovering, he wrapped up the shoot of Homi Adajania’s Angrezi Medium and returned to India last year. The actor could not promote his film but shared a heartfelt message asking his fans to wait for him ahead of the release. While fans have been waiting to hear from him, latest reports reveal that Irrfan had to be hospitalized last week.
A report in Navbharat Times suggests that the actor was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai last week as it was getting difficult for him to get his regular check-ups due to the coronavirus lockdown. In fact, a source close to the actor had also shared that there is nothing to worry about. However, he was shifted to the intensive care unit (ICU) today because his health suddenly began deteriorating. We hope the actor feels better soon and we get an official confirmation about the same.
Earlier this week, Irrfan’s mother Saeeda Begum, who was residing in Rajasthan, passed away. While the actor could not travel due to the COVID-19 lockdown, he paid his last respects through a video call and connected with his family.
