Farhan Akhtar In Bangkok To Shoot For A Marvel Project, Could It Be One Of These Two?

The news is exciting for all Farhan Akhtar fans out there. Recent reports suggest that the actor and filmmaker has been roped in for a big Marvel Studios project and has already taken off to begin shooting for it.

While the details on the subject are vague and IANS report claims that the Toofan actor is already in Bangkok shooting for this international project. The reports come from an unconfirmed source of the agency who refused to give away more details.

"Farhan is currently stationed in Bangkok, along with an international cast and crew, for the shoot of a project with Marvel Studios, who are known to be one of the biggest film studios worldwide," the source of IANS informs them.

While there are not many details out there, we already know that MCU is in Phase 4 after Avengers: Endgame, and in this new chapter will introduce two Asian superheroes - Ms Marvel and Sang-Chi. It is possible that Farhan is a part of either of these two projects. Ms. Marvel which is currently being filmed is reportedly headed to shoot in Thailand and the series is due for release next year. Meanwhile, hang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is expected to arrive in theatres in September this year.

While he shoots for the project there, his film Toofan is on a countdown for release on Amazon Prime Video in May. The sports drama helmed by Rakesh Omprakash Mehra will showcase Farhan playing a boxer.
