Exclusive- 14 Phere star Gauahar Khan remembers the moment she knew Zaid Darbar truly loves her

The gorgeous Gauahar Khan tied the nuptial knot with her boyfriend and social media sensation Zaid Darbar in December last year. It was a grand celebration and their beautiful wedding pictures left fans in awe. Well, soon after her Walima, the actress reached the sets of her film 14 Phere to shoot. She beautifully portrayed the role of theatre actor Zubina in the film, who agrees to play the role of Vikrant Massey’s fake mother and then Kriti Kharbanda’s fake mother so that her friends can get married. Netizens loved her as Zubina and some even felt that she was the best character of the romantic comedy.

In an exclusive chat with Desimartini, we asked Gauahar what her husband thought of the character. To this, the actress replied, “Well you know, he was on set right after my wedding, when I came on set of 14 Phere in Lucknow right after my Walima. And then it was New Year night which was the 31^st of December and he was kind enough to, you know, like join me for the shoot. So he, on 31^st night the very first New Year with his wife, has seen me as a 60-65 year old buddhi and he has seen and experienced her in all prosthetics, and seen me in you know all the bum pads and you know, breast pads and all of that.”

She went on to add, “So I know that he truly loves me (laughs) because even after seeing me like that he has accepted me. So he loves the character, he has seen me live he has seen me in the film. He really thinks that, you know, that not many people get this kind of opportunity and he’s very proud of the fact that I did and I did a good job of it.”
