Ek Villain Returns: Arjun talks about working with John
Arjun Kapoor will be sharing the screen with John Abraham for the very first time in Mohit Suri’s Ek Villain Returns. However, this isn’t the first time that the actors are working together. Back in 2007, years before making his acting debut, Arjun worked as an assistant director on John’s Salaam-e-Ishq. John, on the other hand, co-produced Arjun starrer Sardar Ka Grandson and also played an interesting cameo in the recently released film. Well, Arjun is quite excited about collaborating with John for the third time.
In a chat with Spotboye, Arjun was quoted saying, “It’s quite fun you know I’ve been an assistant in Salaam-E-Ishq, he (John) is my producer in Sardar Ka Grandson and now I get to act opposite. In the literal sense, I have accomplished all three sites of it. So it should be fun.” Talking about the film, the actor shared, “I haven't really short with him yet, we don’t share screen space to that degree that every day we will be shooting together. It’s a nice interesting script where two characters are coming together at the right time to entertain you all. I’m looking forward to it.”
Arjun went on to state, “It’s a feeling of happiness that you get to work with somebody so good with action; he will elevate my level of action when I do with him.” The actor added that it’s very exciting and he is looking forward to learn and showcase his strength with John’s help. All in all, he hopes it will be a nice collaborative positive experience. Well, we are sure it will be!
A spiritual sequel of 2014 film Ek Villain, Suri’s action thriller Ek Villain Returns also stars Disha Patani and Tara Sutaria in the lead. Can you imagine a better star cast than this? We can’t either!
