Disha Patani Opens Up About Nepotism
This year might just belong to Disha Patani. The actress, who has been seen in smaller roles in most of the films she has been a part of, has some big projects in her kitty. While she is gearing up for the release of Mohit Suri's Malang, which will hit the screens on 7th February, she will later be seen opposite Salman Khan in his big Eid film Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai and in Ekta Kapoor's KTina. The actress recently opened her heart up while promoting Malang. From talking about Tiger Shroff to her upcoming films, Nepotism and working with older co-stars, she bared it all.
In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, the actress straightway said 'what relationship' when she was asked about Tiger Shroff. The interviewer asked on why Tiger never acknowledges the relationship despite the two always being seen together. Well, looks like Disha is following Tiger's path too.

She also acknowledged that nepotism exists in the industry, but was quick to add that it's everywhere and isn't new to just Bollywood. She said, "At the end of the day, it’s the work that speaks. You’re lucky if people like you, that cannot come with birth or be bought. Nepotism exists in every industry. My sister is in the army. If she has a child, they will have an edge over others if they decide to join the forces. Instead of being jealous, it’s better to work your way up, on the strength of your talent."
She also talked about the age difference that exists between the lead actor and the actress. In fact, after q short part in Bharat, she will romance Salman Khan yet again in Radhe. She said, "It was a dream come true to work with Jackie Chan in Kung Fu Yoga. He was 65 then. Ditto with Salman (Khan) sir, the biggest star in our country. Age is just a number. When I’m 50, I’d want to work with an 18-year-old. After just my second film,I got to work with Salman sir in Bharat, which gave me my first commercial song, “Slow Motion”. I don’t know if I deserve this. I’m glad to get an opportunity to dance, act, do action."
Well, we love the positivity that Disha exuberates. Do you agree with her opinions? Let us know in the comments.
