    Deepika Padukone is pressing the refresh button on her filmography after starring in a series of dramas and heading onto something on a lighter note. The actress has made a very exciting announcement today and it is about a new film. After a film with a serious social message like Chhapaak the actress has now lined up some light hearted movies including the sports drama 83 and another new film with Rishi Kapoor which will be the Indian adaptation of the Hollywood film The Intern.

    The actress made the announcement on Twitter and revealed that the film will be a 2021 release. The Intern released in 2015 and starred Anne Hathaway and Robert Di Nero in a story about a digital age entrepreneur and her old age intern who makes her look at life with a new perspective with his life lessons. The film is an endearing watch and the Bollywood remake is already exciting us.

    Deepika Padukone and Rishi Kapoor have previously worked together in Love Aaj Kal. The actress was also in a relationship with the veteran actor’s son Ranbir Kapoor.
