Complaint Against ALT Balaji Dismissed By Hyderabad Police Post Investigation In Derogatory Web Series Case

Ekta Kapoor was named in a complaint filed against her ALT Balaji show XXX Uncensored 2. The complaint filed by a Hyderabad based social activist mentions that the web show propagates derogatory content . The Hyderabad cyber crime cell, however, gave Ekta Kapoor’s show a clean chit after investigation putting the case to rest.

A source close to the development quoted by Hindustan Times claims, “A Hyderabad based complainant raised an objection against an Alt Balaji show and wanted to raise an FIR. But when the police undertook an investigation, the FIR filing was dismissed because there wasn’t anything objectionable that was found.”

“A police department already investigated the case, went to the respective platform, saw the show and found nothing offensive,” added the source.

The erotic comedy series directed by Ken Ghosh has a new story in each episode and a particular episode was also targeted by Bigg Boss 13 contestant Hindustani Bhau claiming that is was insulting to the Indian Army. A Youtuber filed a complaint regarding the same in a Mumbai police station too.

Even after the clean chit from Hyderbad police, Ekta still has the Mumbai complaint to worry about. The series stars Kyra Dutt, Aparnaa Bajpai, Rithvik Dhanjani, Shantanu Maheshwari, Ankit Gera, Pryanca Talukdar and Aparna Sharma in key roles.
