Sharvari once gatecrashed Sonam's party
Sharvari Wagh made her big-screen debut with Bunty Aur Babli 2. The actress played Babli 2.0 and was seen opposite Siddhant Chaturvedi. Now, in a recent interview, she revealed how she had once gatecrashed a Bollywood party, when she was still struggling in the industry.
Talking to Bollywood Bubble, Sharvari revealed that she had once gatecrashed Sonam Kapoor's Bollywood party. Talking to the portal, the actress said, “Maine Sonam Kapoor ki Diwali party crash ki hai (I gatecrashed Sonam Kapoor’s Diwali party). I had a few friends who were going, I tagged along but I clearly tagged along very fast because they have a list. And at that time, nobody knew me, so I very easily crashed it.”
To this Siddhath Chaturvedi said, “Sonam Kapoor... utni himmat nahi hui hai (I haven’t had the courage to gatecrash a party as big as Sonam Kapoor’s).”
In another interview with Mid Day, Sharvari revealed that she had been auditioning for YRF since 2015. “When I met the director, I had no idea it was for Bunty Aur Babli 2. Rani [Mukerji] ma’am, the OG on set, showed immense confidence in me and asked me to use my instinct. The film comes with responsibility. We [Siddhant Chaturvedi and I] had to bring enough to the table to make sure we meet the expectations.” She also added that her parents had booked an entire theatre to watch her on the big screen.
