Aryan Khan drug case: Shah Rukh Khan's son gives his statement, says 'might have known people that does not mean I have purchased anything'

Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan's bail hearing is on in a court in Mumbai. The starlet was taken to NCB's custody after drugs were found in the cruise ship where he was partying. His custody was extended to 7th October for further investigation and NCB has now appealed to extend the custody till 11th. Amid such circumstances, Aryan Khan has finally given his statement, which was presented by his lawyer Satish Manshinde in the court today.

Satish Maneshinde, who was representing the 23-year-old shared the starlet's statement. Here are the 4 major points that Aryan Khan revealed:

Nothing has happened in the last two days:
"First remand I readily agreed for remand, second remand they asked for seven days of custody. We were thinking the investigation will progress but nothing has happened... Aachit is the only person they want to confront with me now they could have done yesterday. They can do it anytime. I am available, even later. They have everything from me, now, phone, chats. They have not interrogated me since last two nights."

How Aryan reached the cruise and his connection to Arbaaz Merchant:
"I was called by a friend called Pratik Gaba who had co-ordinated and invited me. I don't know anybody else. They are series of chats between me and Pratik none talks of rave party of consumption of drugs when we talk about cruise event. Pratik is also a friend of Arbaaz and Arbaaz was invited by Pratik. I didn't cooperate with it.

I reached the gate I saw Arbaaz as we knew each other so we spoke. There we meet NCB Officers. NCB officers asked me if I was carrying drugs I said 'No', they searched me and found nothing. Later (they) searched Arbaaz and I was asked to come to NCB Office. Arbaaz is a friend of mine, I don't deny friendship. He himself has said he came all alone to the spot. We didn't coordinate to come to the ship. I wasn't aware he is even coming."

Interrogation can happen even if Aryan isn't in custody:
"I have co-operated with them there is no complaint against me. I can be even sent to judicial custody and later given bail. I will co-operate with them. I cannot be given further custody they are not interrogating me. They want to reach the main accused but they can't keep me in custody till then. I haven't seen the head of the cartel head."

Knowing a person does not mean buying drugs from them:
"We have been longest in the custody. NCB investigation has not progressed from 6 grams of Charas seized from Arbaaz to 2.6 grams of Ganja seized from Aachit it has gone down. I might have known people that does not mean I have purchased anything from him."
