Armaan Malik Reacts To Sonu Nigam’s ‘Music Mafia’ Comment, ‘Let People Play Twitter Twitter Only’
Armaan On Sonu's Music Mafia Comment
Singer Sonu Nigam took social media by storm when he shared a video of himself talking about T-Series music label baron Bhushan Kumar. A lot has been written about the entire fiasco. Bhushan Kumar however did not speak a word about all of this. Sonu went on to allege that a ‘music mafia’ had asked 6 singers to give interviews against him. He further said that these singers were also asked to deny all the claims of being treated in an unfair manner in the music industry.
That was also the time when he had shared singer Armaan Malik’s 1.5-year-old tweet, where Malik had written about the injustice meted out to singers and how opportunities are not given to them to make the kind of music they want.
Sonu wrote, "Unmein se ek ka bhai hai jo apni Twitter pe aaj se 1.5 years pehle yeh likhta hai ki agar music industry mein unity hoti toh pura scene hi alag hota kyuki aaj industry ke saare musicians tortured hai, unhe woh nahi karne diya ja raha jo woh karna chahte hai – yeh uski (Armaan Malik) language hai."
Take a look at the tweet -
In an interview with Zoom Digital when Armaan was asked about sharing his opinion, the singer refused to speak on it and stated that the fact that he spoke about his music journey was more than enough. He further said, "Anything else is for Twitter, and let people play Twitter-Twitter only. There's no answer to that. I have answered through my journey and I think that should be my reply to everything else."
