Deepika Wanted An Open Relationship

In a recent revelation, Deepika has said that although she liked Ranveer, she was looking for an open relationship. In an interview given to a popular magazine, Deepika said, “It was not about him. It was about whether I was ready to commit to a relationship. Because I'd been in several relationships before and many times my trust was broken. When I met Ranveer, I was exhausted.”

They  Have Been Engaged For Four Years

According to recent interviews, the two lovebirds who were dating for the last six year was already engaged for the last 4 years. Yes, you read that right.

How The Relationship Started

While talking about their special moments Deepika said, “I was at Yash Raj and he was there and he was flirting like it’s nobody’s business and he was dating somebody else at this point and I was smiling to myself and told him, You are flirting with me." According to Deepika that was the first time she realized that Ranveer was special.

When Deepika Decided To Marry Ranveer

In another recent interview, Deepika revealed when she finally decided to take the plunge with Ranveer. She said, “I thought of marrying him after Padmaavat. We knew it was going to happen, it was just a matter of time. When the film released, it just felt correct. He was, of course, ready but had already committed to a few projects. He wasn't sure if he'd be able to take out the time. But he made it work.”
