Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi to collaborate the remake of Driving Licence, Raj Mehta to direct?
Akshay Kumar, Emraan Hashmi to collaborate?
We are already totally pumped up about Akshay Kumar and all his upcoming films. The actor had been on a signing spree and had finished shooting for films even during the pandemic. In fact, now as release dates are being booked, Akshay Kumar has taken up quite a few festival slots, even till 2023! And while he still has several films in his kitty, reports of him signing new ones have been doing the rounds. Now, it seems like he has signed yet another project, which would be the official Hindi remake of the 2019 Malayalam film Driving Licence. What's better- the film will have Emraan Hashmi sharing the screen with Khiladi Kumar.
Well, if a report in Peepingmoon is to be believed, then Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi has signed the dotted lines for Dharma. The film would be the remake of Driving Licence, which starrer Prithviraj Sukumaran and Suraj Venjaramoodu. While Akshay will play Prithviraj's character, Emraan would be reprising Suraj's role. It would be a full-on entertainer, and the two actors will also be clashing. It would reportedly be helmed by Raj Mehta, who had earlier directed Akshay in Good Newwz.
While there has been no official announcement, we have our fingers crossed.
