Ajay Devgn's Upcoming Superhero Film Under YRF To Have A Massive Budget Of Rs. 180 Crores? Read Details...

Ajay Devgn is set to do a superhero film and would collaborate with YRF for the first time for it. It's a big project that would be mounted on a big scale. In fact, YRF would have it as a part of the YRF 50 Projects to celebrate its Golden Jubilee celebrations. Now, we have gotten to hear that it will have a massive budget of Rs.180 crores.

According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, a source was quoted saying, "Being a superhero film, YRF has allotted Rs. 90 crores budget to the cost of production of the film in addition to the print and publicity expenditure and Ajay Devgn’s acting fees. Taking a tentative figure for both the expenses, the approx. budget of the film will come closer to the Rs. 180 crore mark, which is also among the costliest film for Ajay Devgn till date."

It's being said that Ajay will play the villain in this one while debutant and Ananya Panday's cousin, Ahaan Panday will play the superhero. The source further added, "The character of baddie will be like a hero in the franchise, and more like a central character in every film. The franchise is also a long term launch plan for Ahaan, making it the most expensive and extensive launch till date in Hindi film history. Ajay’s character is said to be fantastic with phenomenal action, acting and screen time."

The film would be directed by Shiv Rawail and the official announcement might be made on 27th September. We are looking forward to it eagerly!
