Laal Singh Chadha To Incorporate The Covid-19 Situation?
The Covid-19 pandemic still has the world reeling and looks like more and more filmmakers are finding a way to incorporate the harsh realities of this situation in their movies. Aamir Khan’s film Laal Singh Chaddha for instance could be one such film.
The Bollywood remake of Tom Hanks’ 1994 blockbuster Forrest Gump will reportedly include the Covid situation in its narrative. Many historical incidents will be a part of the film’s narrative as experienced by the protagonist and looks like the makers plan to cover things as far as the pandemic. According to a Spotboye report, the makers are already working on expanding the plot.
A source informs the publication, “It is self-evident that a film on the important historical happenings cannot be complete without communicating the Corona crisis. The shooting that is now halted would resume once the lockdown is over, with fresh inputs in the screenplay.”
Laal Singh Chaddha was supposed to release on Christmas 2020 originally until the pandemic delayed the film by an entire year. Actress Kareena Kapoor who is expecting her second child soon recently wrapped up her portions of the shoot for the movie in Delhi along with Aamir Khan.
